Comfort Shag is defining the Third Coast Sound. What is that all about? If you’ve listened to Third Coast Sound or been to a gig, you know that our orginal songs are infuenced by a wide variety of artists and genres. We put our own spin on the covers – they get "Shagged up."
We are shaped by the different musical influences each of us brings to the band. There’s rock, of course, but we also are stirring in funk, soul, 80s pop, blues, Americana and even swing. It’s like Milwaukee and Southeastern Wisconsin – a mosaic of cultures and vibes that settled along the shores of Lake Michigan, the "third coast."
