If you’ve ever committed to making a record or any other artistic passion project, you know that you take many other people on the journey. We'd like to take a minute to show how much we appreciate everyone who is with us on ours.

Thanks to all of you who have supported Comfort Shag over the years by coming to gigs, following us on social media, spread the word and cheered and clapped when a song ended. You inspire us to give 100% at every show. We very much look forward to seeing you again!

Then, there’s a circle of people that are close to the band, providing advice, encouragement and the equipment we needed to make Third Coast Sound happen. In no particular order, we thank…

Jason Rieve for his help getting the project off the ground by recording initial tracks in our practice space and delivering sage advice that shaped compositions. Jason, you have a great set of ears, spot-on musical sensibility and the experience to know how to guide, not dictate. Oh yeah, you’re a great drummer, too.

Tom Fey, for his incredible generosity when it comes to equipping the band, time and time again being there even at the last minute. Most of all, thanks for reminding us that even when the emotional rollercoaster you ride when pouring yourself into a project, “We do this for fun. Keep it fun.” Oh yeah, you play mean guitar, brother!

Tarrah Beyer, for her help on Drive, in particular the lyrics in the bridge. From the day it was conceived to when it was recorded, Drive has gone through multiple phases. You were a big part of that growth. Oh yeah, you sing with soul, sister!

Thanks to Ryan Rosmann, head engineer and owner of Hi-Five Studio. Your skills and the environment you have built inspire creativity. Can’t forget Diego; thanks for keeping it light. Also a big shout out to David Glasser, mastering engineer and owner of AirShow Mastering. You truly went the extra mile for us.

Most of all, we need to thank the significant others in our lives – Richelle, Amy, Jess, Gina and Marilyn and all kids in our tribe – for understanding that this work means so much to us, even without any promise of fame or fortune. And thanks for putting up with those extra nights rehearsing and recording, Saturdays in the studio instead of with family, listening to us bitch and dream for a year and a half. 

Most of all, thanks for understanding that we write and play music because it is something that makes each of us who we are.
